Here is the 300-125 roll call on June 3, 2003, by which the House voted for a constitutional amendment giving Congress the power to prohibit physical desecration of the American flag.

A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the legislation. A two-thirds vote is needed to approve constitutional amendments.

Voting yes were 86 Democrats and 214 Republicans.

Voting no were 113 Democrats, 11 Republicans and one independent.

X denotes those not voting. There is one vacancy in the 435-member House.
