Issues and developments concerning the First Amendment provoke some of the most complex and compelling discourse about many of the key issues of our times. That discourse is informed in large part by First Amendment decisions rendered by the Supreme Court – the stock of much of our online library. To complement that library, we are now adding a First Amendment Books section. The new books section of the online library includes the following: - A hyperlinked list of books published in 2008 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- A hyperlinked list of books published in 2007 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- A hyperlinked list of books published in 2006 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- A hyperlinked list of books published in 2005 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- A hyperlinked list of books published in 2004 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- A hyperlinked list of books published in 2003 concerning freedom of expression, religion, freedom of information, and freedom of expression-related books
- Reviews of books on or related to the First Amendment and published in 2004 or 2003 (replies and rejoinders will occasionally accompany the reviews)
- Profiles of forthcoming books and
- Occasional interviews with the authors of new or forthcoming books concerning the First Amendment.
As with other sections of the online library, the First Amendment Books section will be updated regularly. In all of this, the animating idea is to provide our online readers with as much information about the First Amendment as we possibly can. To that end, we welcome any suggestions you may care to offer. Ronald Collins |
