Iranian Professor Selected as Top Islamic World Scientist
TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian professor of Marvdasht Islamic Azad University, Fars province, was chosen as the top scientist of the Islamic World this week.
Dr. Javad Turkmani was selected as the top scientist due to his numerous articles and researches in the field of agriculture.
Located 45 kilometers north of Shiraz, Marvdasht is a city as ancient as the history of Iran and the vast Persian empire.
The Persepolis is in the vicinity of the city and a few kilometers away there are Naghsh-e-Rostam, Naghsh-e-Rajab and the ruins of the ancient city of Istakhr which are reminiscent of the glorious history of the city.
