Physical Education Organization Director Mohammad Aliabadi was elected NOC president last month, but Pourmohammadi announced that Aliabadi would not be allowed to take the post since it would be a violation of the regulations.
"People with two jobs are not allowed to work in sports federations. For the time being, we have cancelled the elections in all federations due to this problem," the SIO director said according to Tehran Times.
The final decision will be made next week, Pourmohammadi added.
