Iran to Rebuild Palestine's Parliament Building

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani announced today his colleagues' decision to reconstruct Palestinian Parliament building.

Larijani said the decision has been taken in line with Iran's comprehensive cooperation with the Ismail Haniya's government (which is legally and democratically elected government) in rebuilding Gaza's mosques, schools, hospitals and houses.

"The Palestinians' victory in Gaza war after the 33-day Israeli war against Hezbollah posed a new phenomenon in international scene and spoiled devilish equations of the US and Israel," Parliament Speaker said.

He reiterated that Iran will always stand behind Palestinian people, the Iranian students news agency reported.

Israeli forces attacked Gaza's mosques, schools, hospitals and houses, as well as UN buildings and schools, during the war in Gaza Strip in which 1400 people were killed and over 5500 others were wounded.

The Iranian parliament speaker also called for prosecution of Israeli leaders for the war crimes they committed against Gazans.

Elsewhere, Larijani slammed US President Barack Obama for his inaction vis-a-vis the Israeli war on Gaza and said, "(Obama's) silence during Israel's brutal game against Gaza and practical support for Tel Aviv created a big shock in the change theory."
