US Troops Ask Iran's IRGC for Training

TEHRAN (FNA)- US officials in charge of security of a European airport have asked for airport security training courses by Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, a senior IRGC official said Tuesday.

"US troops deployed in a European airport have requested the IRGC's Airport Security Unit to train their troops," Lieutenant commander of IRGC's Security Unit, Brigadier General Ahmad Haq Talab told reporters.

"Due to the very good performance and experience of IRGC troops in airport security and continued security on Iranian flights, different Asian, African and European countries have made similar requests from Iran," the General added.

Haq Talab said that Iran has so far given a positive response to the Asian and African countries' in this regard.
