Commander Warns Enemies of Crushing Response

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Morteza Saffarion said on Tuesday that the IRGC forces will give a crushing response to any possible invasion against Iran's soil.

"Today the Persian Gulf waters are under the full control of Iranian forces and if the enemies make any movements against the Islamic system they will receive a devastating response," Saffarion stated.

He said the IRGC has succeeded to build domestic vessels equipped with high-tech technology.

"Today we have new weapons which are domestically designed and are unique in their kind… The Islamic Revolution Guards corps, having special strategies and expertise, has the capability to combat the enemies at any stage."

"I can not mention the name of some of the equipment due to strategic considerations. But I should say that today we have long-range missile which will strike a serious blow to enemies," Tehran Times quoted Saffarion as saying.
