Iran-Canada Joint Film in Indian Tri Continental Film Fest

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran-Canada joint production "Forbidden Sun Dance" directed by Iran's Leila Ghobadi is to be showcased by Tri Continental Film Festival in India.

The event to host 28 films out of 20 countries will be kicked off on January 15th and is to be continued in Indian cities of Mumbai, Calcutta, Bangalore and Goa.

The festival comprises 11 Asia premieres, eight India premieres and one world premiere, the Iranian students news agency reported.

Not All in Good Faith, Zones of War and the Line that Defines are among main sections of the festival.

The festival involves four sections in which juries from India, Philippines and Malaysia will make comments on documentaries and feature films taking part in the event.

Tri Continental Film Festival was first held in Latin America in 2002 and has been since hosted by a different country each year.
