TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran has reportedly invited Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan to Tehran to attend a film festival and receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.
"The Film Festival in Tehran invites me to honor me with a Lifetime Achievement (Award). I wonder if it will be possible for me to go there. I have another decoration in Davos at the (World) Economic Forum that I have accepted around the same time," Indian the Hindu newspaper quoted Bachchan as saying in his blog.
The actor of "Sholay", "Black", "Sarkar Raj" and "The Last Lear" will also fly to Paris for the Salon du Cinema next month where some of his films would be screened.
Amitabh Bachchan served in the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987.
He is now believed by some to be the most prominent actor in the Indian film industry.
