Gallery to Display New Art of Recycled Materials

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian land artist Ahmad Nadalian is to display his modern art of recycled materials at Tehran's Laleh Gallery on Sunday.

A group of 20 land artists are to accompany Nadalian during the one-day show.

"The participants have been selected from different previous festivals and workshops. They will gather on Sunday and will display their artworks that are a combination of material works and performances," MNA quoted Nadalian as telling the Persian service of the Iranian students news agency.

He added that the multimedia project related to Iran's 15th Persian Gulf Environmental Art Festival held on Hormoz Island will be screened by means of a video projector on Sunday morning.

"In the afternoon, there will be some performances in which several members will produce sounds via the recycled materials they have collected from their environment," Nadalian added.

Afterwards, the members will discuss environmental art in Iran over the past decade and will review its various aspects, he remarked.

Nadalian is a world famous land artist. He spends most of his time in nature and travels to different countries around the world. His land art works of engravings are scattered in over 40 spots across the globe.
