Iran Ready to Aid Iraq with Reconstruction

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran is prepared to help Iraq with reconstruction and service projects, a senior Iranian diplomat said.



In a meeting between Iraqi Vice-President Adel Abdul Mehdi and Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the two sides reviewed bilateral ties, the importance of promoting relations, the trend of current developments and Iraq's political and security situation.

At the meeting, Qomi pointed out that Tehran will continue support for political trend of developments in Iraq, Baghdad-based Al Sabah daily reported.

He also said Iran will cooperate with the country in the service sector and rebuilding projects.
