VP Reiterates Iran's Continued Support for Palestinians

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Vice-President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad Reza Rahimi underlined Tehran's continued support for the Palestinians and urged Muslim states to further strengthen solidarity against the Zionist regime of Israel.



Rahimi who spoke in Morocco as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's special envoy to discuss Gaza developments with Moroccan Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi said the world must do its best to ease the pain of Gazans.

Asked about Ahmadinejad's message for Moroccan King Mohammed VI, he explained the Islamic Republic of Iran firstly insists on holding an emergency summit of Organization of Islamic Countries or at least a foreign ministers meeting in order to discuss Gaza situation.

He also said Iran has announced readiness for establishing a number of field hospitals in the nearest place to Gaza Strip to care for wounded.
