Turkey Ready to Help Iran Build First Commercial Hotel

TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkey is prepared to cooperate for the construction of Iran's first commercial hotel in the city of Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi Province, Turkish Minister of State for Foreign Trade Kursad Tuzmen said.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a conference on the potentials of economic cooperation between Turkey and Khorasan Razavi Province on Sunday, Tuzmen highlighted the Province's potentials for investment, saying as the capital city of the province, Mashhad enjoys notable capacities for investment by Asian states, MNA reported.

He went on to say that Turkish engineers have constructed several commercial hotels, hospitals, and trade centers, noting that the commercial hotel can greatly contribute to the economic flourish and the expansion of international relations as well.

Iran and Turkey expect their bilateral trade volume to reach $20 billion annually by 2011.
