TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian star Andranik Teymourian joined Barnsley on loan until the end of the season from Fulham.
The midfielder joined the London club last summer from Bolton but due to injuries failed to get much playing time under Roy Hodgson.
Barnsley are battling relegation in the championship but for Teymourian the move to Yorkshire is great opportunity to get minutes of the pitch.
"I was unfortunate to get an injury that kept me out of the Fulham side when a first team place was on the cards," the player told Barnsley's website.
"Although I am now match fit, with Fulham going well in the Premier League, it is difficult to break back into the first team. I need games at this stage of the season and I had no hesitation in coming to Barnsley where I know I can do the midfield job that the Club needs."
