Speaker Stresses Convergence of All Officials' Views

TEHRAN (FNA)- Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday evening that continuation of the Islamic Revolution's path is indebted to the convergence of all officials' views.

He made the remarks while addressing a meeting held at the Parliament on unity and solidarity of all Iranian authorities attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Judiciary chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, and several senior officials of the country.

According to the Islamic republic news agency, he stressed that the guidelines of the late Imam Khomeini and of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, played a crucial role in materialization of the Islamic Revolution's objectives.

Praising the country's valuable achievements in different areas, Larijani lauded the Islamic Republic's peaceful nuclear activities.

Referring to the 22-day Zionist war against the oppressed Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, he reiterated that the Resistance Movement has been originated from the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

The 1979 Islamic Revolution resulted in vigilance of several regional nations including Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Afghanistan, he added.

He expressed hope that all aspirations of the Islamic Revolution would be materialized and the Iranian revolution would help all world nations become victorious against the bullying powers.
