Iran, Azerbaijan to Boost Military Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran and Azerbaijan are slated to explore ways for enhancing military and technical cooperation between the two neighboring states during an upcoming visit to Baku by Iranian Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar, Iran's ambassador to Azerbaijan said.

The visit is scheduled to take place in the near future, Nasser Hamidi Zare added.

The two countries are already cooperating with each other within the framework of an agreement on military and technical cooperation signed during the Iranian minister's previous visit to Baku in 2006.
