Bushehr Leads Nation in Mar.-Dec. Non-Oil Goods Exports
TEHRAN (FNA)- Bushehr Province was Iran's leading export point for non-oil goods for the period from March 20 to December 20, 2008, the director general of the Bushehr Province Customs Administration announced.
Some 11.031 million tons of non-oil products, including gas condensates, worth $7.771 billion, were exported via the province's customs offices during the nine-month period, Abdolmajid Tamjidi told the MNA on Saturday.
There was a 25 percent rise in the value and a 5 percent rise in the volume of the province's exports compared to the same period in the previous year, he added.
In the nine-month period, 962,000 tons of commodities valued at $1.1 billion were imported via the province for a 10 percent rise in value and a 19 percent rise in volume compared to the same period in the previous year, he noted.
