Daei Sees Thailand Good Test for Iran before S. Korea Game

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian national team Head Coach Ali Daei said that the team's game with Thailand is a good test before their World Cup qualifier against South Korea.

Calling South Korea's game important, Daei said that the Thailand match will help Iranian players to get ready for the World Cup qualifier.

The Iranian squad left Tehran for Bangkok, Thailand, Saturday evening.

Iran would face Thailand in the framework of the 2011 Asian Nations World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday, January 28.

The Iranian team is to play its warm up games at the private football stadium of a Thai team in Bangkok on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Iran snatched a 6-0 victory against Singapore in the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifier in Tehran's Azadi Football Stadium on Wednesday, January 14.

Daei called Thailand a good and well-prepared team, and said that they play fast like other east Asian players.
