Tehran Museum Holding Seminar on Iran's National Cinema

TEHRAN (FNA)- A seminar on Iran's national cinema is to open Sunday at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA).



Several sessions will be held during the three-day event in which university scholars and cinematic figures are to give lectures and presentations.

According to MNA, Filmmaker Rasul Sadr-Ameli and scholar Hassan Bolkhari will review and discuss the topics "National Cinema, Necessities and Concepts" on the first day.

Several other filmmakers including Hassan Fat'hi, Mohammad Ali Najafi, and Ziaeddin Dorri will attend the second session on the first day entitled "National Cinema, Research in History".

Members from different cinematic guilds, students of cinema, as well as reporters are attending the programs.

The seminar has been organized by the Association of Iranian Cinema Writers and Critics.
