The festival held in Moscow from November 14 to 18 has involved two sections of short and feature films.
The Iranian film has already received prizes from France's Aix-en-Provence and Huston's International Festivals as well as Iran's Roshd Festival's Silver Statue, the Iranian students news agency reported.
The documentary portraits the story of a teenager Abdulwahed Esmaeelpour who has lost both his hands and eyes due to a mine explosion in Kurdistan, west of Iran.
The boy was able to read books with Braille script by his lips and he became the top student in his school.
65 films out of 18 countries competed in the festival while 20 thousand people in Moscow watched the films screened in the event.
The global event supported by UNICEF mainly seeks changes in lives of disabled people and in their struggle against hardships due to physical problems.
