Secretary of the event Fazel Nazari told reporters Sunday that the festival will be organized in four categories: cultural, economic, social and steadfast.
The cultural section is to deal with art and media and their maladies. This year's festival will also discuss the role of culture in economy, he said.
Commenting on the programs of the social section, Nazari said that the event will focus on altruism and sacrifice.
It will also deal with social ills and ways to tackle them, he noted according to the Islamic republic news agency.
Sacred Defense Era (eight-year Iraqi-imposed war of 1980-88) is part of Iran's culture and its various aspects should be dealt with, he said, adding that steadfast section has been designed for the purpose.
Meanwhile, executive secretary of the festival said, "In order to give international dimension to the festival, we have organized educational workshops in Azerbaijan Republic, Turkey and Syria to make the youth acquainted with the programs of the festival."
Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic, Lebanon, Cyprus and Syria have indicated their readiness to take part in the event.
Film 100 Club was organized to make artists familiar with the objectives of the festival, he said.
