Speaking in a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian affairs Mohammad Mehdi Akhoundzade, Chia Jeon said on Wednesday that "Israel's offensives against Gaza has led to a shock in the global community and has made everyone worried."
China participated in the Security Council meeting over Gaza issue and will support the joint statement of the council in this regard, he noted according to the Iranian students news agency.
China believes the global community must make an attempt to prevent widening the scope of the crisis, Chia Jeon asserted.
