Israeli Warplanes Carry 40 Air Strikes on Gaza Overnight

TEHRAN (FNA)- Israeli warplanes pounded at least 40 targets in Gaza overnight killing 29 more civilians including three children and eight women, according to medical workers.

Israel says it pounds military targets, but, the UN officials in Gaza say the Israeli bombardments are indiscriminate taking tolls on civilians.

The Islamic republic news agency reported from Gaza City that Israel has focused its bombardments on civilians to make the people turn from Hamas.

"What Israel is doing in Gaza is blatant genocide regardless of war laws which brings culpability for the Israeli leaders as per Charter of the International Criminal Court, the United Nations Court specialized in war crimes."

Most of the strikes were in the border town of Rafah and the southern city of Khan Younis.

The heaviest fire was concentrated on Gaza's border with Egypt. to stop the food convoys.
