Pakistani Politicians Highlight Israel's Defeat in Gaza War
TEHRAN (FNA)- Central Secretary General of Pakistan's Jamaat-e-Islami Seyed Munawar Hassan and Senator Tariq Azim of Pakistan Muslim League-Q stressed that Israel lost the war in Gaza.
"Israel technically lost the war," Munawar Hassan said on Tuesday.
He reiterated that the Israeli regime failed to achieve its goal to eliminate Palestinian Islamic Resistance Hamas.
Speaking to the Islamic republic news agency, the two Pakistani politicians added that Israel had to stop attacks on Gaza because of the strong retaliation from Hamas and "now the security of Israel has become worse than before the Gaza conflict".
Munawar Hassan added that the world had given lots of time to Israel for accomplishing its evil plots against Muslims of Gaza, yet Israel lost the war.
"Hamas has not accepted the demands of Israel," he added.
He described Israeli incursion to Gaza "part of an Israeli plan to eliminate Hamas".
The Pakistani Politician emphasized that Hezbollah should have played an active role in the Gaza war.
He also criticized Muslim countries for being silent viewers to the holocaust in Gaza.
"I have no doubt in saying that Hamas has got a multidimensional victory in Gaza war," he said.
Senator Tariq Azim, on his part, said that Israel would not have been able to win the war in Palestine even if it takes over the control of the whole area.
"To win a war you must win the hearts of your people and Israel has failed in doing so," Tariq Azim said.
"Hamas is the representative of Palestinian people and the world should respect their choice," he stressed.
Senator Tariq Azim criticized Arab and Muslim rulers for their inaction and failure in fulfilling their most fundamental responsibilities towards Palestinians.
