"The change in the US strategies did not arise from their power or correct thinking of the country's officials, but from the inefficiency of their systems vis-à-vis the Islamic Republic's defensive strategies," lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Mohammad Hejazi told FNA on Saturday.
"When they recognized that they cannot confront such power, they started speaking of the policy of change, and this indicates the mightiness of the Islamic Republic and the capabilities (and power) of our armed forces," the Iranian commander reiterated.
Highlighting the high level of Iran's military preparedness, the General stressed that the Islamic Republic now has the most prepared and most powerful armed forces in the region, and advised Iran's enemies to avoid threatening the country.
Hejazi also noted IRGC's plans and strategy for the Iranian new year (started March 20), and said that tangible boost of military preparedness and updating forces proportionate to the enemies' threat set the priority for the IRGC in this year.
