TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Interior Minister Sadeq Mahsouli will pay an official visit to Oman in the near future.
Mahsouli, heading a political and security delegation, is slated to take the trip to the Omani capital, Muscat, next week.
During the visit, the Iranian interior minister is schedule to meet with his Omani counterpart and other officials to discuss bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between Tehran and the Persian Gulf littoral state.
The visit would be Mahsouli's second trip abroad since his February visit to Bahrain.
Earlier in April, Omani Crown Prince and Inspector General of Police and Customs Office Malik Bin Suleiman Al-Moammari in a meeting with Mahsouli announced that his country and Iran will soon finalize a security pact.
