Iran to Hold Int'l Roshd Film Festival

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Yazd Province is set to host the 38th edition of the International Roshd Film Festival, presenting films from 10 countries.



The six-day festival will screen about 130 short and feature-length films from Iran, Italy, India, the US, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Singapore, Norway and Hungary.

The event will also screen 107 Iranian films, which were awarded at previous editions of Roshd Film festival, MNA reported.

The 2009 International Roshd Film Festival will kick off on April 25 in different cities across Yazd Province.

The annual festival aims to support young artists and address educational issues in the form of films and documentaries.
