N. Energy for All, Nukes for None

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki called on all countries to respect every UN member state's right to use nuclear energy.

Mottaki said that "nuclear energy for all, nuclear weapons for none" is Iran's nuclear motto.

"We believe that all nations across the world should have the right to use nuclear energy," Iran's top diplomat said in an interview with Euronews on Tuesday.

Iran has repeatedly called for the total eradication of all the world's nuclear weapons, press tv reported

The nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty also calls for total nuclear disarmament.

Tehran has declared that it will never relinquish its legitimate right to use nuclear technology, despite the West's unjustifiable pressure.
