TEHRAN (FNA)- The Israeli army said it has raided different cities in the West Bank, arresting 24 Palestinians amid non-stop attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Palestinian local sources said the Israeli forces invaded several villages near the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron), and kidnapped seven Palestinian civilians - including teenagers - on Wednesday.
The sources added that the Israelis searched the abductees' homes in the villages of Beit Awwa and Sa'er before taking them to an undisclosed location, press tv reported.
According to locals, Israeli troops gathered the men aged above 18 in the village school in Beit Awwa before searching the homes. Locals added that soldiers abused a number of the men beating them up during the time they were in custody.
During the search of locals' homes, witnesses told the Palestinian News Agency WAFA that soldiers destroyed electrical equipment in homes and took money that belonged to the families.
The Israeli army regularly arrests Palestinians during overnight operations in the West Bank towns despite a valid security agreement with the Palestinian National Authority.
