The Society of California Archivists, formed in 1971, is a professional association devoted to the support and development of individuals and institutions that collect, care for, and provide access to the documentary heritage of California and adjoining areas.

Western Archives Institute 2009 in Berkeley
The 23rd annual Western Archives Institute will be held at U. C. Berkeley in Berkeley, California, June 14 - June 26, 2009. Registration is closed for the 2009 program, but see the WAI web page in the fall for 2010 information.
