IDB, Turkmenistan Ink Memo

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Development Bank undertook to fund Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan-Iran railroad project after it endorsed a Memorandum of Understanding with Turkmenistan.

The 9000-kilometer railroad project whose implementation started in 2007 is going to connect European and Asian transport network as the shortest road from Europe to Persian Gulf ports.
