Copper Production Rises in Iran

TEHRAN (FNA)- Production level of copper has increased in Iran in recent years, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) reported on Monday.



Copper concentrate and cathode copper have had 72 and 28 percent increases, respectively, in production during the past Iranian calendar year (March 2008-March 2009) compared to three years ago, the Islamic republic news agency reported.
