The Director of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI) Behrouz Alishiri said the meeting will be held on June 2-3.
The forum is to discuss the process of global economy, reports on the IDB's activities as well as devising approaches for the bank's activities during the next year, he was quoted by the Iranian students news agency as saying.
Alishiri then pointed out to growing cooperation between Iran and the IDB and said the country has managed to receive a considerable amount of credit from the organization to implement its infrastructural projects and provide money for the industries and institutions producing goods.
Iran is among active partners of the bank and is playing an influential role in its decision-making; he said adding the country is the fourth biggest shareholder of the bank.
