Our Historical and Advanced Bookbinding Series with Dominic Riley and Michael Burke provides an array of courses in traditional bookbinding and finishing methods. Dominic and Michael visit the Center annually from the Lake District of England to teach their intensive binding workshops. They offer a wide range of techniques being offered with something to pique the interest of any bookbinder.

Spoken City Book Project: Reading and Reception
Tuesday Jun 30, 7-9pm Funded with grants from the San Francisco Foundation and the San Francisco Public Library, this project will engage youth in a 10-week writing workshop led by James Kass, writer and founder of Youth Speaks, and Katri Foster, poet.
