US President Barack Obama traveled to Moscow where he met with President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. They announced agreements on making marginal reductions in nuclear weapons, and allowing the US to ship military supplies to Afghanistan through Russian airspace. The Obama administration has said its goal is to "reset" relations with Russia, and at a speech to Moscow's New Economic School, Mr. Obama called for the United States and Russia to be partners rather than rivals.
