Iran to Compete in 4 Categories in World Judo Championships

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's national Judo team will take part in four categories in the 26th World Judo Championships to be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on Wednesday.



The Iranian squad, coached by Mahmoud Reza Miran, is slated to leave Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport for Rotterdam, Holland on Sunday dawn.

Vahid Sarlak (-60 kg), Vahid Banaa (-66 kg) and Ali Maloomat (-73 kg) as well as Ehsan Rajabi (+100) are the four Iranian athletes who will fight in the competition.

The competition will run from August 26-30.
