Iran Plans to Offer Second BA Degrees to Boost Employment Rate

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran is due to perform a program according to which the country's universities will offer two bachelor's degrees to the graduates of the related fields of study in a bid to create more jobs in the country.

According to the plan, if a student wants to take the minor degree, he should pass fewer credit hours than the major field of study in two or three semesters.

The program will be offered to the people who enjoy a bachelor's degree and is expected to be well received by employers looking for ways to prosper in the current economic climate.

Also, the minor degree will be classified as students' second choice for academic specialization.

The secondary field of academic concentration and specialization will offer core level classes beyond the scope of their primary degree.
