The ceremony inaugurated by Ali Rafiei's "Fish Fall in Love" on February 1st morning concurrent with the beginning of the 30th year of Iran's Islamic Revolution victory.
"So Simple as That" by Reza Mir Karimi, "Life" by Gholam Reza Ramezani, "The Deserted Station" by Alireza Raisian, "A Piece of Bread" by Kamal Tabrizi and "Night Bus" by Kiumars Poorahmad are to be shown in the festival, the Iranian students news agency reported.
The Head of Yugoslavia's Cinema Museum taking part in the inauguration ceremony said when Iranian films are being displayed no empty place could be found to sit.
Also Iran's Ambassador to Belgrade Morteza Mir Heidari expressed satisfaction over Serbians' warm welcome for Iran's rich culture.
Also Algerian, Libyan, Palestinian and Indonesian ambassadors, diplomats from other countries and some cultural figures of Serbia took part in the ceremony.
