Iran's "About Elly" to Be Screened in New York's Tribeca Film Fest

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's "About Elly", the newest project by Asghar Farhadi is to be screened in New York's 8th Tribeca Film Festival.

The Iranian film which already clinched Berlin's Silver Bear prize is to be shown in Tribeca's World Narrative category.

86 feature films from 33 countries are selected to be screened in the festival, the Iranian students news agency reported.

The number of films has been cut by 28 percent comparing to those of last year due to the global economic downturn.

The event will be run from April 22nd through.
