AFC Invites Iran to Attend Committees' Meetings

TEHRAN (FNA)- Asian Football Confederation (AFC) invited the officials of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) and the managers of Esteqlal and Persepolis clubs to attend the meetings of its committees.



IFF President Ali Kaffashian, Football Premier League Organization Chief Aziz Mohammadi, manager of Esteqlal club Amir Vaez Ashtiani and manager of Persepolis club Abbas Ansari Fard left Iran for Malaysia on Monday.

Kaffashian is due to participate in the meeting of AFC committee, Aziz Mohammadi in the session of Asian professional league committee and Abbas Ansari Fard and Vaez Ashtiani in the meetings of professional clubs committee.

Speaking before leaving Iran, Aziz Mohammadi stressed that Iran hopes its active presence in the meetings will help its national team and the progress of the country's club teams.
