TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's national soccer team manager Afshin Qotbi said on Tuesday that his men are scheduled to encounter Bosnia's national soccer squad in a friendly match on August 12 in Sarajevo.
"Bosnia will encounter us with all its main players and according to the agreement and arrangement we have made, the European-based players will join the Bosnian team during our stay in Bosnia," Qotbi told the Iranian Football Federation.
Describing the Bosnian national squad as powerful, he reiterated that the team had a considerable ascent in FIFA ranking and stood second to Spain in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
"The team can be a proper rival for the (Iranian) national team to get further prepared for the Asian Cup," Qotbi said.
Elaborating on the Iranian national team's line-up, he stressed that the team will mainly have a line-up similar 0to the three qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup.
