Iranian Women's Soccer Team Leads Group C in Pakistan

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian women's soccer squad hit Pakistan in two matches with 20 goals against none and kept leadership in Group-C in Pakistan's 5th National Women Football Championship at Islamabad's Jinnah Stadium.



During the first match, Sara Ghomi Marzdahti scored four goals as Iranian team Malavan Bandar Anzali won over Pakistan's North West Frontier Province 12-0.

Ghomi hit the goals in the 12th, 35th, 38th and 70th minute while Iranian keeper Afrouz Mozaffari Lalekhah spent an easy day as the Pakistani players were disappointed to hit the net by Iranian back four.

Another Iranian player, Fereshteh Karimi succeeded in winning the reputation as sharp-shooter with her second hat-trick in as many encounters with striking in the 5th and 9th and 24th minutes.

Other goal scorers were Faezeh Abdinejad 11, Fatemeh Arzhangi 21, Mina Hashemi 33, Soheyla Mikaili 64 and Hajar Shahmalekpour 69.
