Iran Opposes Expansion of US Military Deployment in Latin America

TEHRAN (FNA)-Iran is against the expansion of US military presence in Latin America as well as other parts of the world, asserted Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

Conferring with his Bolivian counterpart David Choquehuanca in La Paz on Wednesday, Mottaki said Iran is against the establishment of the US military bases in Latin America and any other parts of the world.

He also warned Latin American countries against a visit by the Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman to the region, the Iranian students news agency reported.
