Mottaki: Iran, Saudi Arabia Resolute to Enjoy Appropriate Ties

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian and Saudi Arabian leaders are resolute to enjoy appropriate ties, said Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki at a meeting with outgoing Saudi ambassador.

"Iran and Saudi Arabia are two important, great and influential countries in the region and they have various prospects and goals in bilateral, regional and international levels although they have different viewpoints in some regional issues," the Iranian students news agency quoted him as saying.

Meanwhile, Mottaki referred to the Arab country's misbehavior with Iranian pilgrims in Hajj affairs saying, "Continuation of presence of Iranian pilgrims in hajj in Saudi Arabia hinges on revision of Saudi official behavior towards Iranian pilgrims."
