Turkish PM Offers Condolences to Iran over Plane Crash

TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday offered his condolences to Iran over the deadly plane crash.



In a phone conversation with Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Erdogan expressed deep grief over loss of people aboard of the Tupolev passenger on Wednesday, the Iranian students news agency reported.

The plane crash claimed lives of 168, 16 minutes after it took off from Imam Khomeini International airport to head Yerevan, Armenia.
