The Iranian Army's Navy inaugurates a jetty in the port city of Jask in the country's second naval zone in the Persian Gulf
The Iranian Navy inaugurated several projects, including a jetty, in the southern port city of Jask on the rims of the Persian Gulf this week
According to military officials, the project will help strengthen the Iranian Navy's strategic influence in high seas as well as the Indian Ocean
Also on the same day, the Iranian Navy started a project for the construction of a special jetty for its speed boats in Jask
The Navy also inaugurated a new military airport in the port city of Jask on the same day
The projects were designed and implemented at the order of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, for expanding and fortifying the Iranian Army's naval zones in southern Iran

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Iranian Army's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced that his forces will stage a stronger presence in high seas in an effort to maintain and boost the country's might and clout

According to Admiral Sayyari, the Navy will set up more naval zones in the country's southern waters in the near future
