Iran Snatches 2 Bronze Medals in Macau Wushu Champs

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Wushu team snatched two bronze medals in the Fifth Asian Junior Wushu Championships in Macau.

Iranian athletes Mehdi Mokhtar-Pour and Farshid Asadian bagged the medals.

The Fifth Asian Junior Wushu Championships kicked off in Macau on June 8.

Several athletes from different Asian countries are participating in the event.

The championship will be wrapped up on June 9, the Islamic republic news agency reported.

Wushu is a modern exhibition and full-contact sport based on traditional Chinese martial arts.
