TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's manager Afshin Qotbi said that his side will astonish all experts, specially South Korea's national soccer team.
"I have a special plan for this match; I assure you that with the change of the plan we will surprise everybody, especially our rival," Qotbi said in a press conference on Tuesday.
"We would like to defeat South Korea with all its stars," he added.
The Iranian coach further pointed out that all his men are in the best mental and physical condition to face the Koreans in Seoul, press tv reported.
"I am positive that the players will do their utmost to make the Iranian nation happy," he explained.
The Iranian outfit is to meet South Korea in its last 2010 World Cup qualifier in Seoul Wednesday
South Korea currently tops the Asian Group B with 15 points and is already guaranteed a ticket to the 2010 finals in South Africa. North Korea and Saudi Arabia sit second and third respectively on 11 points. Iran is fourth with 10 points and the UAE remains at the bottom of the chart, with only one point.
Asia has four automatic qualifying berths, with the third-placed teams in the two groups playing each other for a chance to take on the Oceania zone victor, New Zealand. The winner will book a place in the World Cup finals.
