Mottaki, Davutoglu Confer on Mutual Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu held a meeting in Istanbul on Monday to confer on the two countries' cooperation.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 25th Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) which is also participated by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The two foreign ministers conferred ways to promote bilateral ties and cooperation especially after the late October visit to Iran of the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during which an agreement was signed for promotion of bilateral cooperation.

Mottaki is in Turkey as a member of President Ahmadinejad's accompanying delegation at the COMCEC meeting.
