Trade Exchanges between Iran, Iraq Up by 71%

TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian official on Tuesday announced that the volume of trade exchanges between Iran and Iraq has witnessed a 71% growth during the last 8 months.

Secretary of Iran-Iraq Economic Commission Hassan Danaei Far said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is expected to export $4 billion worth commodities to the Iraqi cities during the current Iranian year (ends March 20).

The official made the remarks in a meeting in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, to study ways to develop Tehran-Baghdad economic cooperation, the Islamic republic news agency announced.
